Taraneh Ghajar Jerven is a travel writer and children's author based in Oslo, Norway. Her major publications are "Capitals" (2018), a children's international travel guide for Bonnier, as well as "DK Eyewitness Norway" (2019) and "DK Eyewitness Denmark" (2019) for Penguin Random House. She has contributed to a wide range of Penguin Random House travel guides on regions including Sweden, the USA, Canada and Greece.

She is currently focused on producing illustrated non-fiction titles for children revolving around the things she loves — family travel, food, nature, design, curiosities and tradition.
