Birgit Skarstein (b. 1989) is a Paralympic athlete, competing in rowing and para cross-country skiing. She has won twelve World Championships medals and is a world champion and world record holder in rowing. She's studied political science, is involved in politics, and advocates for an inclusive society. She is also part of the Global Shapers, a group under the World Economic Forum, and a member of the Biotechnology Board.
