One day the books start disappearing – not just from their own shelves, but also from the school library and libraries all over the country. The book club decides they need to make a plan. One night they see the thief – a strange flying creature who brings them to a tiny island far, far out at sea. There they’re captured by a strange little man – and suddenly the story takes a new turn.
