In the long poem Finish the book about your life (Skriv ferdig boka om livet ditt), we follow Norwegian-Armenian Adam Zamjatin in his meeting with what we like to call the new, modern Norway. A meeting between absolute democratic requirements, you might say, and abandoned democratic ideals. As one of “the others” in Norwegian society, Adam faces countless unforeseeable challenges. He wants, like so many others, to remain individual, even if this means he is never accepted. Finish the book about your life ditt is an empathetic long poem which considers whether it's really wrong to ask for help, wrong to need help, wrong to get by without help.
