It's Philip's birthday. Today he can get to make all the decisions. But that turns out to be not such a good idea. Philip behaves intolerably. He misses school and an appointment at the dentist. At his birthday party he refuses to eat dinner, and he won't let the other children come on the treasure hunt. He opts out completely and then gets bad toothache.
