Overview Får jeg ikke danse, er det ikke min revolusjon

Where are all the good quotes when you need them? Who manages to put someone in their place with a great phrase, or tell the truth with cheek? For years feminist and author Marta Breen has collected quotes from authors, artists, activists and politicians -- all which are now gathered in the book If I can't dance, I don't want to be part of your revolution - and other feminist quotes.

Here you'll find quotes that inspire, as when professor and women activist Berit Ås said: «If you're not ahead of your time, it will never come.» Or if you need a kick to start making the world a better place, consider these words from actress Phyllis Diller: «Never go to bed mad. Stay up and fight.» For a more poetic turn of phrase, author Arundhati Roy said: «Another world is not only possible, she is on her way. On a quiet day, I can hear her breathing.» Or follow author Maren Uthaug's clear message: «It's bad sister solidarity to fake an orgasm.»

Laugh or cry along with these impressive women, who know how get it said.
